Its been a very active week.

Tuesday I walked around Coulon Park with Lina and clocked the walk at just shy of 3 miles.

Wednesday’s WOD at Imperial Crossfit:

WARM UP
2 Rounds of
50′ Bear Crawl
50′ Broad Jumps – (these hurt my knees so I only did 1 round.)
5 Toes to Bar

WOD
20 Minute AMRAP
10 Med Ball Cleans – (Goblet Squats with an 8lb KB for newbies)
15 Ring / Parallel Bar Dips (30 bench Dips)
20 Double Unders (75 Singles)

I did 6 rounds which is pretty good considering. This is the first WOD where its been AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) since I started Crossfit. My knees were so dead the rest of the night but only one bruise so that’s good. I plan to go to Crossfit again Friday so I can get two crossfits in this week again. Plus its a great way to start the weekend off.

*Modifications for the workout. I was on modified workout because i’m a newbie.

Today I ran 2.5 miles in 25 minutes around Newcastle Reserve. Lots of hills and beautiful golf course. I’ve decided that in order to not be sore from crossfit I need to run the day after each workout. It’s a nice balance of weight training and cardio.
