Why I’m Blogging

18 months ago I decided to take charge of my life. I decided that enough was enough and I started focusing on myself instead of others. After six months I had lost 40 pounds. I took my first trip to Europe and discovered my self esteem, self confidence and new found spark for life. At the one year mark I hit 60 pounds lost. I’m still on the journey and still have about 20 more pounds i’d like to lose, but I want you all to be on that last leg of the journey with me.

After spending the last 18 months working on myself. Getting into shape and unleasing my inner athlete, I’m here to help others find their inner athlete. While this is an on-going journey for me, I want to inspire everyone else’s journey’s too.

Use this place to ask me questions, ask for advice, or help getting motivated to get to the gym, or hit the pavement. Whatever it takes. We all have an athlete inside of us and its time for them to come out and play. I will also post some recipes for some “Tasty Treats” to help you reach your goals too.
